Can our lives be disease free?
How to be there for our grandkids and still be healthy enough to enjoy this time!
There are alarming statistics on the health of Australians and in particular, how many of us are overweight and/or obese. We may not be quite at the level of the USA but it would seem we are doing our best to catch up with them.
With 67% of Australian adults overweight and 31% of those being obese maybe it's time we put some thought into our lifestyles. Even 25% of our children are overweight with 8% of them obese.
Our future can be one to look forward to but it is up to us to make that choice. Is there any of us who doesn't want to to be healthy as we grow older and to be there for our children and grandchildren? The list of benefits for us are a mile long. The alternative is not a pretty one. If we choose to do nothing with comments like “we gotta die from something” then so be it but we have the chance now to avoid the diabetes, heart disease, dementia, strokes, cancers and even mental health issues. It really boils down to the question of whether we want the “short term pleasures” or the “long term gains”? We all know someone suffering, whether a family member or a family friend but I'm sure if given the choice that we are facing now, then they would have chosen a different road when it comes to their health.
So how do we make the change?
Step number one is to come to the realisation that our Doctors are the last place we should be going for advice on how to get healthy. When it comes to diseases, doctors are great at telling us what we have but when it comes to telling us why we have them, most of them don't have a clue. The reason for this is that they are not trained to prevent disease but in how to manage them. Sometimes this can be essential for example, if you were to suddenly develop pneumonia, meningitis, broken bones, appendicitis or even having babies then they are definitely who we want to see right away. Unfortunately with the majority of diseases our modern world is facing now (as mentioned above), especially for those of us becoming the “older generation”, these diseases have been developing over many previous decades.
Unfortunately the big pharma industry does not want us to “see the light” and take control of our own health outcomes. Put simply there is just too much money to be made from the system we have now. Live life to the fullest when we are young and let the doctors fill you up with their chemicals as we get older. Its a downhill path and most of what our so called health advisers are telling us is nothing short of bollocks.
As well as our diets failing our bodies needs, our society continually bombards it with agricultural chemicals and those chemicals being added to our foods and personal products as well. When we are young our body has a fighting chance of clearing out all those nasty sprays and additives but eventually it starts to lose the fight as it isn't getting the fuel to keep the battle going.
As if that isn't enough then along comes Covid19 to really test out our defences.
Once again we are told by the health “professionals” that the only answer is to put chemicals into your body. Not only chemicals but a concoction that is completely experimental and no one knows just what the long term outcomes of these new vaccinations are going to be?
There
is no doubt any longer that this “new” virus was created in a
laboratory in China and that these experiments are still continuing
today and creating even more deadly strains. Their excuse is that
they need to do this in order to be ready with a vaccination to fight
it. Once again my reaction to this statement is “bollocks”. If
they had never played with the viruses to start with we wouldn't be
in this situation now.
So here we are facing the same question again. Do we rely on these people for our health or do we take charge of this responsibility ourselves. Big Pharma is already on vaccination number 3 (calling it a booster) and have just had approval to pump this poison into our children down to the age of 5 in America. No doubt our politicians in Australia will endorse the same for our kids here. It does beg the question as to the credibility of our politicians as most of their decisions are based on total lies and fabrications around the truth.
The winners, big pharma.....the losers, the Australian people.
Getting back to our overweight and obese Australians, it would seem that anyone in this category could very well be susceptible to the covid19 virus and may benefit from the vaccination. But regardless of whether you choose to vaccinate or not, we can still improve our lifestyle and at the same time boost our immune system.
Step number 2 would be to find out as much as you can about diet and what to eat and what supplements may be needed. This you can do by research and trusting your gut as to what to believe and not believe. Combine this with visiting a naturopath and preferably one that is recommended to you by family or friends. Remember that a healthy diet still requires your body to exercise on a regular basis to fully become a fit, fighting machine because this is exactly what our bodies are......they are simply amazing and designed to survive. We just have to give them the right fuel and exercise for them to be able to do their thing.
The long term benefits – holding your grandkids and great grandkids and sharing in their lives.
